The first thing that should strike you about the Marinha Dourada is the peace and tranquility. Set in serene surroundings the atmosphere remains cool even in hot summers. To ease the pressures of life and the hustle and bustle of cities the Marinha Dourada is the ideal choice. Echoes from the past are apparent in the décor of the resort. The architecture brings Portuguese Goa in the resort. The red masonry stone arch at the entrance radiates a welcoming grace.

A complimentary transfer from the hotel to Baga beach and back is provided although a walk is surely recommended to sample the beauty around. Just to remind you that 90% of our clientele are repeat guests. To tickle your palate the resort has multicuisine restaurant A VARANDA which has live music at least 4 times in the week. Being located overlooking the pool with an excellent view of the palm fringed lake the effect is charming.

The resort has 2 outdoor bars - AGOR (poolside bar) And BARRACUDA open till late. Besides lively theme parties, barbeque and sizzler evenings all outdoors between the two lakes with fire eaters, folk dancers, serenades and live band spice up your holiday experience.

Coupled with our Play Area/Play Stations we have swimming pools, Massage and Beauty Parlor, Gym, Jacuzzi and Steam. Besides we have boating facilities on our lakes. The resort also offers an array of indoor games like pool, table-tennis, carom, etc. Our conference facilities measure upto international standards and handled with routine efficiency. Both the air-conditioned halls have capacity of 300 & 150 pax theatre style. Our covered event pace has a capacity of 650 pax theatre style. Our boutique A Loja sells a variety of items from film rolls to leather goods. We also have an in-house tailor and a gold smith too.

The resort has 205 Air-conditioned rooms with T.V., fridge, phone and balconies overlooking the lakes and the swimming pools.Always a cool refreshing breeze blows accross due to the openess of the area. Ideal for birdwatchers.

Restaurants and Bar:

A VARANDA - Open air multicuisine restaurant located at the garden level overlooking the pool serves Indian, Continental & Chef's specialties.A wide array of Indian, Chinese, Goan & Continental culnary delights can be savoured.Live music could be enjoyed at least 4 times in the week at the A VARANDA restaurant.

Weekly theme parties are unique due to the location between the two lakes. The entertainment provided is the depiction of Goan culture and tradition through folk dances, live band, fire eaters and the wedding style buffet all under open skies with fairy lights to enhance the surrender to the mystic charms of nature.

Serenades, folk dances, karaoke, Indian classical music and dance, live bands etc. to entertain you on different days. Snacks and a variety of cocktails and drinks are available throughout the day in the restaurant and by the poolside.

Pool-side Bar - AGOR Located by the poolside. Serves variety of beverages, cocktails, spirits and wines besides a few snacks. Open from 1100 hrs. to 2400 hrs,

Lake-side Bar - BARRACUDA Located on the lawns between the two lakes. Serves variety of beverages, cocktails, spirits and wines. Open from 1100 hrs, to 0200 hrs.
